HSCL provided technical assistance to the Federal Ministry of Health (Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH)) with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) for the finalization of the National Strategic Health Development Plan (NSHDP)2 document.
Specific work included leading the development of the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework, establishing an "efficient" secretariat that reconvened partners and consultants to complete the draft narrative and costing for the strategy, support for consolidation and stakeholder consensus building workshops and development of an implementation roadmap.
Project Goal

Related Activities
- Developed a new roadmap (work plan) for taking the entire document development process to completion in the shortest possible time;
- Assisted the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) in mobilizing partners and other stakeholders for several roundtable discussions to agree on the new roadmap/work plan (clearly defined deliverables and delivery dates) as well as solicit financial support for the process.;
- Provided technical support in the review of M&E plans for the federal and some states and the development of national M&E plan for NSHDP II;
- Provided technical assistance to the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) in the development of an implementation roadmap.
