About

Ezinne Peters is a health systems expert with professional experience across several healthcare programs. She has over 12 years experience in public health and health systems, program management and administration.

Ezinne is a member of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria (APHPN). Her experience in business development won her a national grant - Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria (YOUWIN), supported by the Federal Ministry of Finance, DFID and the World Bank, which was aimed at the development of safe water supply in a community within the Niger-Delta.

She was the pioneer Program Manager in the Imo & Ebonyi Offices of CRS National Program. She went on to become the Head of Health Unit, Save the Children International (SCI). While working at Save the Children, she worked as a technical lead in the conceptualization and development of MNCH program areas needed for business development .

She managed the provision of technical input, monitoring, evaluation, multi-donor, partners’ engagement at the national & sub-national levels in Nigeria, and across several project sectors such as: Stop Diarrhoea Initiative (SDI) funded by Reckitt-Benckiser, Healthcare Capacity Building (HCB) – Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals, REACH – GSK, Strengthening Newborn Care, Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP) - USAID, Core Group Partners Program (CGPP), REACH, Breakthrough-Action (BA) and STOP Pneumonia etc.

Ezinne has also served as a Fellow and an advisor of IMPACT Project at the US Centres for Disease Control. During her time at the CDC and Emory, she successfully published a policy brief for the government of Romania supported by the Global Fund.
