Expression of Interest – Capacity Strengthening for Local Production of Malaria Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits in Nigeria

Background

Under the Enhancing Local Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management for Health Commodities and Supplies in Nigeria project — a joint initiative of the Presidential Initiative for Unlocking Healthcare Value Chain (PVAC) and the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP), with the support of the World Bank — qualified and credible Nigerian-based manufacturers are invited to indicate their interest in the local production of Malaria Rapid Diagnostic Test Kits.

This initiative seeks to strengthen Nigeria’s capacity for local manufacturing of critical health commodities, reduce dependence on imports, improve supply chain resilience, and contribute to the sustainable elimination of malaria in the country.

  2. Relevant experience – evidence of previous production of similar medical diagnostic devices or health commodities.
