Job Title: Senior Technical Officer- Business Development

Job Summary
The Senior Technical Officer- Business Development will be responsible for providing technical expertise in Business development and support to the team. He/She will manage the process of analyzing complex technical problems, developing solutions (including tools, frameworks, etc), and leading and implementing them. He/She will also be involved in Business Development, Client relationship management, and leadership mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration, advocacy, and resource mobilization.
- Assist in building HSCL’s market position by playing facilitating roles in identifying, defining, developing, and closing of business relationships.
- Conduct and analyze market research on industry trends and processes of comparator organizations and accordingly advice on business strategy.
- Examine risks and potentials for identified business opportunities.
- Actively participate in the development, planning, and implementation of business strategies and provide advice on value and margin improvements from current and future projects.
- Support design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of ongoing and future projects.
- Make inputs into research, documentation, and knowledge management.
- Contribute to creatively showcasing/publicizing HSCL’s accomplishments through the creation and dissemination of engaging social media posts and through other relevant avenues.
- Keep abreast with and attend (as approved) industry activities/functions for learning, networking, and other purposes.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years for Medical Doctors and 5 years for other related disciplines.
- A minimum B.Sc./MBBS certificate in Medicine, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- A professional certificate is required.
- Sc./MBA/MPH will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, policy development, and program management in the field of health financing.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis on health financing topics.
