Job Title: Senior Technical Officer- Health Financing

Job Summary
The Senior Technical Officer will be responsible for providing technical expertise in Health financing and support to the team. He/She will manage the process of analyzing complex technical problems, developing solutions (including tools, frameworks, etc), and leading and implementing them. He/She will also be involved in Business Development, Client relationship management, and leadership mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on health financing matters, guiding and mentoring project teams.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of health financing data and indicators to assess the performance, sustainability, and equity of health financing systems.
- Develop robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track progress, identify gaps, and measure the impact of health financing interventions.
- Generate comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Lead the development and implementation of health financing strategies and policies.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years for Medical Doctors and 5 years for other related disciplines.
- A minimum B.Sc./MBBS certificate in Medicine, Economics, Public Health, or a related field.
- A professional certificate is required.
- Sc./MBA/MPH will be an added advantage.
