Job Title: Technical Officer- Health Financing

Job Summary
The Technical Officer will be responsible for analyzing health expenditure data and providing recommendations to strengthen health financing mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and advice on health financing mechanisms, including insurance schemes, and public funding.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop health financing strategies aligned with national health goals and priorities.
- Support the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for health financing programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement health insurance reforms and expand coverage.
- Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of health programs and recommend strategies for optimization.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- A minimum qualification of B.Sc. in Economics, Public Health, or MBBS certificate in Medicine, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year for Medical Doctors and 3 years for other related disciplines.
- A professional certificate will be an added advantage.
